About Me
I am a lover of life. I like to take advantage of all life has to offer. One of my most favorite lines is from Nicki Minaj's song The Night is Still Young. She ends the song with the words "How dare we sit quietly and watch the world pass us by." True words to live by in my book.

I have been a natural organizer for years. It is in my DNA! I have found that if I take some time in the beginning to organize, I can be far more effective overall. Years of working in Human Resources and my Master's program really emphasized the need for organization. When I come into any space (mentally or physically) that is disorganized, I immediately feel anxious. So organizing brings me peace and clarity and makes me efficient, effective, and calm. It provides a clear path and I love to share this with others.
I decided to enter the world of life coaching after two dear friends both mentioned to me that I have continually helped other friends and family members achieve their goals. I was always one offering resources and ideas, encouragement, and guidance. These were two different friends, on two different occasions. After that, I knew I'd found my true calling because I realized they were both right. I was good at life coaching before I'd even had any formal training because it is natural for me and I have always loved helping and coaching others.

During my training, I realized I was constantly pulling from information I'd learned from the many books I'd read, lectures I'd watched, and videos I had seen from those I consider to be mentors to me. Deepak Chopra, Gabrielle Bernstein, Dr. Wayne W. Dyer, Joe Vitale, Esther Hicks/Abraham Hicks, and Dr. Bruce Lipton are icons to me, who I'll always look up to and learn from. I also enjoy teachings from Lynne McTaggart, David Eagleman, Eckert Tolle, and Dr. Joseph Murray. It became apparent to me that life coaching went beyond the one-dimensional box I once thought it fit into. It incorporated teachings from all of those I consider mentors and I continually use techniques I've learned from them when coaching clients. I am a better coach because of these brilliant people, as well as a better person.
I came to realize that the two things I love to do most that come most naturally to me, often go hand-in-hand as I found myself using grief coaching with a client who I had helped organize and downsize after her mother's passing. Later I pulled in my coaching skills with a newly-blended family that needed some emotional support as well as some major help with organizing their new, combined space. Joining the two to create New Outlook Professional Coaching and Organizing just seemed like the perfect mix!

On a personal note, I have the super best husband and daughter (as well as our fur-babies) who live in Carpinteria, which is the best city in the world (in my opinion). I have written three children's books because of my love of writing fun stories. They are all available through Amazon. I love to run this gorgeous city, hike all over Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties, camp, do Zumba, and see my friends and volunteer as often as I can.
